Career Guidance & Parent Orientation Seminar

Polar Academy is organising an interactive Career Guidance and Parent Orientation Seminar for students and their families. This seminar is designed for those who are at a crossroads — trying to decide which direction to take, which exam to target, and how to plan the next two to three years of their academic journey.

What Will Happen at the Seminar?

The seminar is divided into three focused sessions:

Session 1 — Career Roadmap (For Students)

Our senior counsellors will walk students through the wide range of career options that open up after JEE and NEET. Engineering today goes far beyond civil and mechanical — fields like aerospace, data science, artificial intelligence, and robotics are among the highest-paying and fastest-growing careers in the world. Similarly, the medical field offers paths beyond MBBS, including research, dentistry, pharmacy, and physiotherapy. Students will receive guidance on matching their interests and strengths with the right stream and exam.

Session 2 — Exam Strategy Talk (For Students and Parents)

Senior students from Polar Academy who have successfully cleared JEE and NEET will share their personal journeys — unscripted and honest. They will speak about:

• What their daily routine actually looked like
• How they managed distractions, social media, and peer pressure
• How they stayed confident during mock tests and after poor results
• The role their parents played in keeping them motivated

This session is consistently rated as the most valuable part of the seminar because it offers real insight from real students — not marketing material.

Session 3 — Parent Q&A (For Parents)

Parents carry their own set of questions and concerns that often go unanswered. In this dedicated session, our counsellors and faculty members will address parent questions directly, including:

• My child is an average student — should they still try competitive exams?
• Is online coaching as effective as offline for my child?
• Is taking a dropper year a good decision or a risk?
• How much academic pressure is healthy, and when does it become harmful?
• What is the fee structure and how can my child get a scholarship?
